The Star

Married in 2008, Prasad and his wife have been trying for a baby. Prasad came to us after discovering we tell stories and expressed his desire to tell a story of his own. One of the passion, love and encouragement for his wife.

We were moved by Prasad’s knowledge of what makes his wife, down to the tiniest, most specific details about her. He had begun by sharing how his wife is a hard-core Star Trek fan and how she had waited for months to acquire the number of the starship enterprise as her car number plate.

Ruby, which is known to be an amulet for fertility, was chosen to be the main centrepiece stone. It is also represents the emblem of the Starship Enterprise. The soft gleams of white hues of the pearl in the middle of the centrepiece gently portrays the beauty of patience. This piece marks a new beginning for the couple as they begin their journey to parenthood.

Even miracles take a little time. Prasad wished to tell his wife he will stand by her through rain or shine. We were moved by the love that binds them. The kind of love epitomised by the Moonstone.

To boldly go where no man has gone before.

Some time later, Prasad had returned.

He came to have another piece made; a star trek pendant. For their little one.

In this piece, the weaving of the band represents all the memories that they have shared in this journey together. Just as the bangle twiddles around the wrist of the wearer but never leaving it, Prasad and his wife cleave to one another in every step of the way in the journey of life.

A bespoke piece is more than just a personalised jewellery. This is definition of one's identity and a voice that will continue to be heard in times to come.
